We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Nurse to join a welcoming Nursery. You will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and education to children. Working closely with colleagues, parents, and carers, you will help create a positive and engaging atmosphere for young learners. This role begins ASAP.

Duties as a Nursery Nurse:

  • Provide a safe, secure, and supportive environment for children.
  • Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Support children's learning and development through play.
  • Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records.
  • Promote positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ensure health, hygiene, and safety standards are met.
  • Assist with mealtimes, nappy changing, and toileting as required.
  • Uphold safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.

Ideal Nursery Nurse:

  • Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education (or equivalent).
  • Experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting.
  • Knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development.
  • A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
