We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Nurse to join a welcoming Nursery. You will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and education to children. Working closely with colleagues, parents, and carers, you will help create a positive and engaging atmosphere for young learners. This role begins ASAP.
Duties as a Nursery Nurse:
- Provide a safe, secure, and supportive environment for children.
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework.
- Support children's learning and development through play.
- Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records.
- Promote positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ensure health, hygiene, and safety standards are met.
- Assist with mealtimes, nappy changing, and toileting as required.
- Uphold safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.
Ideal Nursery Nurse:
- Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education (or equivalent).
- Experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting.
- Knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development.
- A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
