Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the kitchen team, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Oversee all food preparation and production processes to ensure high-quality dishes are consistently delivered.
- Develop and implement innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while catering to customer preferences.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised kitchen environment.
- Supervise the training and development of kitchen staff, promoting continuous improvement in skills and performance.
- Monitor inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
- Assist in budgeting and cost control measures to optimise profitability without compromising quality.
- Write menus for seasonal changes and plan specials to ensure variety for our customers.
Skills
