We are looking for a highly motivated and proactive Environmental Advisor to join our clients QSSHE team in Norwich. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide specialist environmental support across onshore and offshore producing assets, ensuring compliance with all environmental requirements from operations through to decommissioning. Minimum 12-month contract (Monday to Friday) based in Norwich, with occasional offshore/onshore site visits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Environmental Advisor for 3 operational platforms, NUI’s, and subsea tiebacks
  • Manage OPPC, ETS, and Chemical Permits for offshore operations
  • Provide technical input into Terminal Environmental Operations
  • Develop an Environmental Plan aligned with ISO14001 initiatives
  • Oversee regulatory compliance and maintain relationships with OPRED/BEIS
  • Ensure timely submission of reports (EEMS, OSPAR, OPPC, SECR)
  • Conduct audits, inspections, and site visits
  • Maintain OPEPs and contribute to HSE budget planning
  • Act as a member of the IMT (Incident Management Team)

Key Requirements:

  • Strong environmental experience in offshore upstream Oil & Gas (operator environment)
  • Knowledge of UK environmental regulations (OPRED/BEIS, emissions management, SECR)
  • Degree in Environmental Management, Engineering, or similar
  • Trained ISO14001 auditor with working knowledge of SCR2015, PORTAL, EEMS, ETSWAP
  • BOSIET/FOET certified

Preferred:

  • 8+ years in Oil & Gas or high-hazard industries
  • Full Member of IEMA or equivalent
  • NORM Management/RPS experience
