Our client, a well-established name in the manufacturing sector, is seeking a Continuous Improvement Lead to join their high-performing engineering team. Based at a modern, fast-paced facility, this is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and experienced engineering professional looking to step into a leadership role focused on maintenance strategy and continuous improvement.

The Role:

Reporting directly to the Site Engineering Manager, this role is integral to delivering a world class TPM programme. Taking ownership of maintenance, reliability and Continuous Improvement you will implement best practices and performance initiatives across site equipment and systems. This is a role that focuses on driving transformation, leading teams, and embedding a culture of Continuous Improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery and development of TPM strategy across the site.
  • Implement efficient, cost effective maintenance solutions to support safety, performance and quality.
  • Drive improvements in equipment reliability through data-led maintenance planning.
  • Oversee and optimise use of CMMS (e.g., Mainsaver, Spidex).
  • Analyse downtime and production losses, delivering corrective actions through structured problem-solving (RCA, 5 Whys, DMAIC).
  • Coach and develop engineering talent, supporting team capability and succession planning.
  • Champion a continuous improvement culture including 5S, FMECA, and Top Loss analysis.
  • Support the implementation of smart factory technologies and OEE tracking tools.
  • Maintain compliance with all company and legislative standards.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a similar engineering leadership or reliability-focused role.
  • Strong understanding of TPM, CMMS systems, and modern maintenance techniques.
  • Confident in leading change, influencing cross-functional teams, and managing stakeholders.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or FMCG environment.
  • ONC/HNC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
