The Business Analyst (BA) will be an integral member of the project delivery team working closely with stakeholders across the business to support delivery of outcomes to drive business value. The BA will help facilitate and translate business requirements into easily understandable deliverables along with mapping out future state processes and operating models, which is key to ensuring successful outcomes. Understanding technology landscapes and vendors across eco-systems with varying degrees of complexity will be required in determining appropriate solutions to fit requirements. Ability to adapt to all different sizes and types of projects will be essential as you help our partners and internal stakeholders navigate their way through all elements of new processes and ways of working, business case creation, ideation and feasibility.

Job Description

  • End to End Business Analysis Experience

  • As-is and To-be process modelling
  • Gap analysis
  • Support the scoping of the project or initiative
  • Work in alignment with external partners' ways of working including specific tools e.g. JIRA/DevOps
  • Produce and manage requirements/user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Accountability and ownership for Business Analysis activities and deliverables
  • Accountability for managing changes to BA artefacts during the project
  • Ensuring requirements drive the selection, design, and review of test cases, processes, change requests, project’s scope, acceptance, installation and deployment
  • Work in alignment with testing colleagues to define test scope and strategy and support with test execution where required
  • Work with other teams to ensure the project delivery is aligned to the strategic business and technical architecture
  • Document and implement operational practice and process changes
  • Ensuring that the objectives and requirements are understood and impact analysis conducted
  • Adapt to different methodologies including Waterfall and Agile
  • Build rapport with key stakeholders and business users
  • Able to manage own time in order to best support the priorities of the project
  • Develop resource and project plans in conjunction with the project manager
  • Plus any additional duties and responsibilities that may reasonably be expected to be undertaken in accordance with the role
  • Help drive forward good Conduct for the business to deliver the best outcomes for customers / policyholders

Skills and Competencies

  • Relevant experience in a Business Analysis role
  • Proven End to End Business Analysis Experience with successfully delivered projects in the Lloyds and London company Insurance markets
