Are you a driven, ambitious graduate, ready to take the next step in your real estate career? We are looking for a junior asset manager to join us at our regional office in Cardiff. You’ll be part of a young, dynamic team taking care of our first-rate property portfolio as we build and consolidate Mileway’s position as the market leader in last mile real estate.
Under the leadership of experienced senior colleagues, you’ll assist with asset management strategy and lease and property management. You’ll work alongside our international team to drive the management of our premium asset portfolio, while making great connections and building Mileway’s local and national relationships.

What you’ll do:
- Responsibility for in-house leasing activity, dealing with enquiries, logging leads, undertaking viewings and negotiation right through to completion.
- Work closely with Mileway’s internal marketing team, having ownership for the preparation and production of marketing material, signage and bespoke events.
- Working with Asset Managers in the production and preparation of approval papers setting out rationales and justification for each matter and seeking the relevant approval.
- Assist in adding rental and capital value to the portfolio by way of value-add initiatives to include the marketing and letting of void units, negotiation of business lease renewals and rent-reviews, in addition to other supervised Landlord and Tenant work.
- Be in direct contact with occupiers to understand their business requirements.
- Build a great network of regional and national consultants and colleagues.
- You’ll work collaboratively with accountants, external property managers and lawyers.
- Assisting Asset Management colleagues on wider business initiatives, market data collection and deck preparation as required.
What you’ll bring:
- A university degree education, ideally on a course accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
- An understanding of the last mile real estate realm.
- You’ll get to know the market and tenants and be able to spot and act on opportunities.
- Your head for numbers. You’ll be assisting senior asset managers with validating valuations and forward-looking financial projections.
- You’re fluent in English.
- Your head for data. You’ll be able to digitize and track new data.
- You’ll have great analytical, financial and negotiating skills.
