The Business Partner will be embedded at senior level, ensuring that work pipelines are generated and visible to Procurement in advance, and will translate business needs into actionable procurement requirements. The Business Partner will understand business plans and strategies across short, medium, and long-term horizons, presenting forward-looking solutions that meet strategic goals. The Business Partner acts as a trusted advisor on all procurement-related matters. Responsibilities: Act as the face of Procurement with Asset leaders, resolving procurement issues effectively and escalating as needed. Establish and manage relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a trusted procurement advisor. Identify collaborative procurement opportunities and benefits for the organization. Lead the integration of collaborative procurement strategies aligned with category management. Influence stakeholders to consider procurement policies in purchasing decisions. Develop and maintain a procurement plan for assets, capex, and opex looking at least 12 months ahead. Ensure procurement understanding across the organization and embed procurement processes and procedures. Support category teams to develop and implement category strategies based on spend analysis and future requirements. Lead the annual procurement value planning process, ensuring alignment with business priorities and delivering benefits. Provide strategic procurement advice and guidance to the business. Requirements: Experience in multi-stakeholder and multi-site environments. Proven ability to develop and maintain internal and external relationships. Experience working with asset management and operations teams. Excellent negotiation and influencing skills at senior levels. Successful track record in delivering procurement strategies and benefits, including cost savings. Experience in strategic procurement practices, including sourcing, contract management, and supplier relations. Leadership experience in complex environments with uncertain demand and multiple locations. People management experience. Some experience supporting commercial bidding processes. Skills and Knowledge: Exceptional planning, organizational, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. Advanced knowledge of procurement processes.
