The Practice Owner came to Falmouth over 20 years ago and, like many, fell in love with the place. Instead of leaving, she built something special—a thriving, independently run practice in the heart of the community. Vets operate with full clinical autonomy, no targets, no upselling—just honest, exceptional veterinary care. They are a 100% small animal GP-accredited practice and hold an Outstanding PSS Award for Client Service. The loyal client base trusts us to care for their pets like family—and they’d love you to be part of that mission.
What You Can Expect:
- 20-minute consults as standard
- A structured diary with protected surgical, admin and break time
- A spacious practice with 3 consult rooms, a dedicated cat ward, and separate isolation facilities
- A visiting cardiology specialist and an engaged, supportive nursing team
- A down-to-earth, collaborative work culture where everyone is valued
- Trained Mental Health First Aider—support is always close by
- The full-time rota is typically 4 weekdays (Monday–Friday) with just 1 in 4 Saturday mornings (8:30am–12:30pm). No Sundays, no OOH. If you need something more flexible—they’re happy to chat.
What You’ll Bring:
You’re a vet with a solid grounding in general practice, great medical and surgical skills, and ideally a surgical interest you’re keen to grow. But beyond that, you’re a people person—a great communicator, a team player, and someone who thrives on variety and enjoys a good laugh along the way.
The Package:
- Salary: £50,000–£65,000 DOE
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (pro-rata for part-time)
