We are seeking a dedicated Fleet & Facilities Manager to ensure our fleet and equipment operate smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage a fleet of over 20 trucks, mowers, skid steers, excavators, and various equipment.
- Utilize tools like Verizon Connect and Asset Tiger for tracking and managing assets.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
- Organize and maintain the shop and yard to ensure operational efficiency.
- Conduct safety checks, ensure DOT compliance, and manage PPE inventory.
- Assist in purchasing new equipment and tracking repairs.
- Coach and promote safe driving habits among team members.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a mechanic, preferably with landscaping or construction equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and systems.
- Problem-solving skills with high energy and initiative.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in outdoor environments.
- Welding skills and a willingness to obtain a CDL if not already held.
