We are hiring on behalf of a leading clean energy contractor delivering large-scale solar and battery storage (BESS) projects across the UK. This is a site-based role, and the client is looking for someone who’s willing to relocate between projects. As multiple deployments are scheduled across 2025, having a consistent, committed Site Manager helps avoid retraining and ensures seamless delivery across all phases.
Immediate need:
- First site deployment starts ASAP (June 2025) in the North West
- Second project follows in September 2025, based in the South of England
What you’ll be doing:
- Oversee on-site delivery of solar PV and BESS systems
- Lead teams, subcontractors, and manage day-to-day logistics
- Ensure all work meets HSEQ and client standards
- Report site progress and work closely with project teams
- Relocate between projects as required
Who we’re looking for:
- 1–3 years’ site-based experience in solar/BESS or renewable projects
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- HSEQ awareness and site certifications preferred (training support available)
- Must be open to relocating for projects
