About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Shipping Coordinator to support our client's local office and ensure commercial and trade enquiries are handled efficiently and professionally. You will be instrumental in supporting strategic objectives, providing freight rates, managing tender documents, and contributing to the overall performance of assigned geographical areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to freight rate and trade enquiries via multiple platforms.
  • Support commercial activities across local offices.
  • Monitor performance against KPIs.
  • Complete tenders and commercial reports.
  • Use in-house systems and Excel to support pricing decisions.
  • Educate and guide local offices on commercial procedures and best practices.

What We're Looking For:

  • Ideally 1 year's experience in shipping.
  • Strong commercial understanding, ideally with pricing experience.
  • Intermediate Excel and solid Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and analytical abilities.
