These are exciting times at ARAG, as we are experiencing positive business change and sustained growth across our Legal Advice teams. We now have a Technical Legal Trainer opportunity available. In this role, you will support the delivery of technical legal training (both face-to-face and online) across our Legal Advice department (dual site), while helping provide a professional Legal Advice service to our commercial and personal customers.
Your role will involve assisting management with technical legal training by supporting, coaching, and mentoring new and existing Legal Advisers, as well as deputising in the absence of Team Leaders, providing technical expertise and guidance. Our Legal Advice teams are based at both Bristol and Bedwas offices. Due to the face-to-face nature of much of the training, this role requires on-site work 3-4 times per week at both locations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying training needs (TNA) through effective monitoring of legal advice calls, with analysis and constructive feedback to Legal Advisers.
- Delivering technical legal training to new and existing Legal Advisers on various legal areas.
- Assisting with complex legal queries and acting as a technical and procedural referral point for Legal Advisers.
- Designing and developing new training materials in line with regulatory changes and legal updates.
- Managing customer experience professionally, ensuring engagement, managing expectations, and meeting/exceeding service levels.
- Innovating and liaising with colleagues to improve working practices and procedures.
- Supporting strategic initiatives to develop and enhance the Legal Advice service.
- Understanding and complying with SRA regulations and statutory obligations.
- Keeping abreast of regulatory and legal updates, and updating training content accordingly.
