Saturday Club is an OFSTED registered club for children with disabilities. We are committed to providing high-quality care and support to children and young people with diverse needs. Our passionate team is committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive. We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Childcare Workers to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of the children we serve.

As a Team Leader at Saturday Club you will play a crucial role in ensuring the welfare and development of the children in our care. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Deputise for the Co-ordinator in the day-to-day management of the club
  • Plan a range of exciting activities
  • Create a fun and welcoming environment for the children who attend, building positive relationships
  • Ensure high standards of care and safety, taking a lead with health and safety and safeguarding
  • Be responsible for medication storage and administration to children who require this as part of their visit
  • Comply with relevant legislative regulations

The Ideal Candidate should have:

  • A NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or a related field (or equivalent) is desirable
  • Previous experience working in a childcare setting and or with children with disabilities is essential
  • A genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to their well-being
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead a team and adapt to changing situations
  • Understanding of the unique challenges and needs of children with diverse backgrounds and abilities
  • A caring and patient attitude with a strong sense of responsibility
  • A clean driving license (desirable)
