We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse and Yard Manager to oversee our store operations based in Leeds. The ideal candidate will manage and coordinate all warehouse activities, ensuring efficient utilization of space and resources, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supervising yard operations.

Key Responsibilities of the Warehouse:

  • Supervise and lead warehouse and yard staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to safety protocols
  • Manage inventory control processes, including receiving, storing, and picking
  • Implement and enforce best practices in warehouse operations to enhance productivity and minimise errors
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Collaborate with other departments to fulfill orders and resolve operational issues
  • Utilize inventory management software and systems effectively
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Ensure equipment reaches the site
  • Organize job packs for distribution to site

What We Are Looking For:

  • Proven experience in warehouse and yard management or a related field
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office suite
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory standards
  • Effective communication skills
  • Forklift Licence
  • Full UK Drivers License
  • Class 1 Licence (preferable)
