Immersed in the creative software and interactive entertainment space, with strong potential for expansion, this is a unique opportunity for a strategically driven and commercially minded finance leader to help shape the continued growth story of the business as the number one in finance.
The company are seeking a results driven CFO to steer the business through its upcoming growth phase, collaborating closely with the founder and investors whilst also leading key strategic and commercial finance decisions.
Key responsibilities:- Be the financial voice at the table, working alongside C-Suite and investors.
- Shape and scale a business with clear ambitions for exit within 3–5 years.
- Drive transformation, automation, and efficiency across finance and operations in a product-focused environment.
- Bring commercial insight to life in a company where innovation, user experience, and technical excellence are core.
- Join the Board and play a central role in setting and delivering on long-term growth plans.
- Lead on all aspects of strategic and commercial finance.
- Build and scale a fit-for-purpose finance function, including mentoring a small in-house team.
- Partner closely with product, development, and commercial leads to align financial strategy with business performance.
- Manage relationships with investors and lead reporting, planning, and performance reviews.
- Own and evolve KPI frameworks, supporting data-driven decisions across the business.
- Support future fundraising or M&A activity as the company scales.
- Experience as a CFO in a high-growth tech, interactive entertainment, or software business, specifically with private equity exposure.
- Strategic thinker with a roll your sleeves up mindset and natural commercial acumen.
- Strong communicator who can bridge the technical and commercial worlds.
- Proven success scaling finance functions, building reporting frameworks, and supporting growth/exit strategies.
- Exposure to M&A, fundraising, or preparing for exit is a definite plus.
