You’ll join our Engineering Solutions team, as the UK’s leading highway maintenance contractor, utilising the latest innovations to create effective solutions. Our services include planned and reactive maintenance and highway improvement schemes.
What will you be doing?
You will undertake designs for new builds and maintenance, producing design packages for construction. You will produce technical reports and other outputs to achieve project goals. You will attend site visits, bridge surveys, and investigations, including structure inspections. You will utilise relevant structural design software to develop solutions and ensure work complies with QSE standards and processes.
What you’ll bring:
- A relevant degree in Civil Engineering
- Design and construction experience within the highway sector
- Knowledge of analytical software for bridges and highway structures
- Understanding of Highways England standards including DMRB and MCDHW, and Eurocodes
- Good knowledge of Health & Safety and Environment in design and construction
- Proficiency in design software and Microsoft Office
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to organise and prioritise
- A UK/EEC driving license
