The predicted salary is between 48000 - 72000 £ per year.
Covering the Logistics manager whilst they are on maternity leave by managing the Logistics and Inventory function servicing the Chippenham UK, EMEA & where applicable global businesses and contribute to meeting company-wide Supply Chain performance and strategy objectives.
Please note this is a fixed term position for 12 months.
Accountabilities
- Help to implement the defined strategy & evolve future global logistics strategy.
- KPI management for Logistics and Inventory activities and ensuring adherence to the agreed W&D budget
- Lead the team in prioritisation and implementation of identified opportunities for logistics cost optimisation and continuous improvement.
- Management of all departmental logistics, inventory and supply chain compliance activities and direct line management of those areas, ensuring relevant training, and development plans are in place for each member of the team.
- Own the contract management discussions with our logistics service partner/s, calling on other Alliance team areas as necessary.
- Provision of global logistics expertise for both daily operations & special projects (new product or market launches etc) across the wider Alliance business.
- Accountable for stock control and reconciliation activity to agreed KPIs.
- Development of global logistics activities to ensure operation within the framework of Good Distribution Practice regulations.
- Due diligence & integration support for new acquisitions.
- Represent Logistics requirements on other company projects as required, e.g. ERP development.
- Support the Euronet Project Manager in their work to consolidate warehouses for the business priority project
Functional Experience
Must Have:
- Qualification to degree level or equivalent
- End-to-End ownership of the Logistics strategy and associated activity and Act as a role model and mentor for the Logistics team
- Third party provider contract management
- Strong manager able to set and deliver against strategic deliverables supported with associated metrics.
- Able to work alongside colleagues across the whole business to find the best customer outcomes, Being able to prioritise and be flexible in an ever changing and fast-moving business

- D365 experience
Career Experience
Must Have:
- Management experience, developing and coaching a team of specialists. Able to support when needed.
