Do you want to join a company in rapid growth and take on a key role at one of our newest and biggest sites in the UK? We have a great permanent opportunity to join an awesome maintenance team delivering vital work for a key customer at our Rugby site. The role will entail the following:

  • Ensure there are no customer operational failures due to equipment failure.
  • Perform systems analysis on various systems including S7 PLC, Profibus, ASi-Bus, EtherCat network.
  • Log analysis on sorter controllers.
  • Perform diversified electrical and mechanical tasks including analytical troubleshooting, both in a planned and reactive environment.
  • Ensure all PPM schedules are completed within agreed timescales to a high standard.
  • Identify problematic faults, rectify and monitor performance on a continual basis.
  • Backup and restore PLC.
  • Ability to articulate detailed reports.
  • Monitor Operational sorter performances and implement continuous improvement measures at customer request.
  • Support existing site-based BEUMER Group CS Colleagues.
  • Support with project and facility management work.

4 on 4 off shifts, days and nights.

Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 3 or 4 Engineering/HNC Eng/HND Eng/ONC Eng.
  • Siemens Step 7 Level 2.
  • Knowledge of conducting sorter Health Checks.
  • Knowledge of sortation and conveyor systems i.e. LS3000 CB or TT/LS4000 CB or TT/BG Sorters/Line Sorters.
  • Knowledge of Emergency Stop System.
  • Knowledge of Safety Supervision System.
