Do you want to join a company in rapid growth and take on a key role at one of our newest and biggest sites in the UK? We have a great permanent opportunity to join an awesome maintenance team delivering vital work for a key customer at our Rugby site. The role will entail the following:
- Ensure there are no customer operational failures due to equipment failure.
- Perform systems analysis on various systems including S7 PLC, Profibus, ASi-Bus, EtherCat network.
- Log analysis on sorter controllers.
- Perform diversified electrical and mechanical tasks including analytical troubleshooting, both in a planned and reactive environment.
- Ensure all PPM schedules are completed within agreed timescales to a high standard.
- Identify problematic faults, rectify and monitor performance on a continual basis.
- Backup and restore PLC.
- Ability to articulate detailed reports.
- Monitor Operational sorter performances and implement continuous improvement measures at customer request.
- Support existing site-based BEUMER Group CS Colleagues.
- Support with project and facility management work.
4 on 4 off shifts, days and nights.
Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 or 4 Engineering/HNC Eng/HND Eng/ONC Eng.
- Siemens Step 7 Level 2.
- Knowledge of conducting sorter Health Checks.
- Knowledge of sortation and conveyor systems i.e. LS3000 CB or TT/LS4000 CB or TT/BG Sorters/Line Sorters.
- Knowledge of Emergency Stop System.
- Knowledge of Safety Supervision System.
