We are looking for someone who’s part-qualified (or actively studying) and ready to take the next step in a fast-paced finance environment, to start as soon as possible! Join a friendly, collaborative team where you’ll gain exposure across fixed asset management, financial reporting, and audit support, all while building the skills to grow into a fully qualified accounting professional.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Keeping the fixed asset register accurate and up to date.
  • Helping with weekly/monthly payment runs for new plant and equipment purchases.
  • Reconciling bank accounts and supplier statements, resolving any differences.
  • Raising invoices for asset disposals and confirming incoming payments.
  • Preparing documentation to support the year-end audit process.
  • Monitoring capital expenditure and ensuring correct asset classification.
  • Assisting with physical asset verification and internal audits.
  • Supporting month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Helping analyse budget vs. actual performance and investigating variances.
  • Matching purchase orders with deliveries and preparing asset sales summaries.
  • Collaborating with teams across the business to gather data for reporting.
  • Getting involved in ad hoc projects and financial analysis as needed.
To Be Successful:
  • 1–2 years’ experience in a finance or accounts support role (ideal, not essential).
  • Part-qualified (AAT, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) or currently studying.
  • A basic understanding of asset accounting and its impact on financial reporting.
  • Bonus if you’ve worked with systems like Syrinx, Access Dimensions, or ERPs such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
  • Confident using Excel - VLOOKUPs and PivotTables are your friends!
