An opportunity to join a start-up transport planning consultancy with endless scope for progression. This business services the private sector led development planning industry and is founded by a handful of industry leading and well-connected experts based in the North West.
After only a handful of months, there is already a clear healthy pipeline of work and a number of major projects on the horizon, including a range of strategic residential (1,000+ units), regeneration, commercial and industrial sites. This strong start is likely to lead to consistent growth over the next couple of years, meaning that anyone who joins in these early stages will have a pivotal role to play in shaping the team with no ceiling for progression.
We are looking to bring in a Senior Transport Planner with 4+ years consultancy experience who can hit the ground running, taking ownership of small to medium sized projects. You will need to have strong technical and report writing skills alongside detailed knowledge of the planning system.
This role will suit an individual with personality, who thrives on responsibility, working with minimal guidance and in an agile and dynamic environment. This is a start-up business where all staff are at the coalface of the business day to day, so this opening wouldn’t suit someone who needs the security of being part of a big team and a rigid environment.
This client has secured a top-class office space in the centre of Manchester. Although there is hybrid and flexible working on offer, the leadership are looking for a Senior Transport Planner that wants to be visible in the office as much as possible.
This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with some of the leading names in the UK transport and development planning sector and to be part of a new venture that has the blueprints of a business that will be the leading consultancy in the years to come.
