We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat residents with communication and swallowing disorders, working closely with the interdisciplinary care team to enhance residents' quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and develop personalized treatment plans for residents with speech, language, and swallowing challenges.
- Provide therapy sessions and interventions tailored to individual resident needs.
- Document evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans accurately.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Current SLP licensure.
- 1 year of experience.
- Experience in a SNF or geriatric care setting is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Covid-19 Vaccine and Flu Vaccine status required.
Contract Role: 36-hour guarantee
Start Date: ASAP
Contract duration: 13+ weeks can be extended
