Miri is a growth agency built to help mobile apps and games scale. As the industry undergoes fundamental shifts, signal loss, rising CPAs, and an evolving AI-driven ecosystem, weβre now looking for a Mobile Strategy Director to shape the future of mobile growth and lead our strategic efforts across client engagements.
Weβre a collaborative team of creative professionals working with some of the most exciting mobile games and apps out there. We enable businesses to grow rapidly by acquiring valuable users through digital advertising. We offer the full-service range from creative design, campaign strategy, and execution, to ongoing campaign optimisation.
As our Mobile Strategy Director, you will lead our approach to client growth, ensuring we remain the strategic partner of choice for ambitious brands. This role will act as the central bridge between client needs and cross-functional execution, ensuring clarity, confidence, and innovation in everything we deliver.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic leadership: Own and evolve the strategic planning process for clients across lifecycle stages (UA, retention, scale and growth), with a particular focus on performance marketing.
- Client partnership: Act as the senior strategic advisor to key clients, helping them navigate uncertainty and unlock new growth opportunities.
- Brief interpretation: Translate client goals into integrated media, creative, and experimentation plans in partnership with cross-functional teams.
- Thought leadership: Stay ahead of market shifts (AI, signal loss, SKAN, creative automation) and proactively introduce frameworks, POVs, and playbooks to internal teams and clients.
- Pitch & new business: Lead the strategic development of pitch responses and be a key presence in new business meetings.
- Team leadership: Manage and mentor a small but growing strategy function; develop strategic talent and build a high-performing and collaborative culture.
- Cross-Team Influence & Collaboration: Act as an influential leader and trusted collaborator across all teams at Miri, fostering alignment, sharing best practices, and driving a culture of open communication and mutual respect. Champion cross-functional initiatives, ensuring that strategic priorities are understood and embraced by all departments, and that every team member feels empowered to contribute to client success. Facilitate regular knowledge-sharing sessions and collaborative workshops, inspiring teams to innovate and solve challenges together.
- 6 -10 years in growth strategy, ideally within a performance agency, mobile-first brand, or consultancy.
- Deep understanding of mobile apps/games, performance marketing, and the post-privacy ecosystem (SKAN, ATT, MMM) picking creative winners and testing frameworks.
- Strong client presence, comfortable in the senior conversations.
- Experienced in turning ambiguity into structured strategy and aligned execution.
- Collaborative, pragmatic, and commercially savvy.
- Personable, articulate and a great mentor.
- Competitive salary with annual discretionary bonus;
- 25 days annual leave rising to 28 with service;
- Private Healthcare with Vitality and Simply Health;
- Generous training allowance to support your continuous learning journey;
