Join a dynamic and busy logistics team in Tilbury, Essex as an Exports Logistics Executive, specialising in export operations across all transport modes. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Communicating effectively with customers, hauliers, and carriers to coordinate shipments.
- Arranging bookings with shipping lines, air carriers, and other transport providers.
- Scheduling collections to meet strict vessel and flight deadlines.
- Completing customs declarations accurately and on time.
- Raising and checking export documentation including Certificates of Origin as required.
- Preparing export manifests and ensuring all paperwork is finalised before dispatch.
- Liaising with warehouses to verify screening and check weighing are completed.
- Monitoring vessels and flights to ensure all shipments are met and handled properly.
- Managing invoicing processes and sending pre-alerts to overseas agents.
- Following up post-delivery to confirm customer satisfaction and identify further service needs.
- Utilising forwarding software such as Multi-freight, CNS, and Destin8 for operational efficiency.
- Adapting to changing industry requirements and contributing to process improvements.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum two years’ experience in export operations with airfreight and seafreight exposure.
- Proven ability to complete export documentation and customs declarations accurately.
- Experience working with CNS, Destin8, and Multi-freight forwarding software is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Competent in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills, friendly personality, and strong team collaboration.
- Proficient English and Maths skills.
