Fast growing, dynamic cleantech business seeking talented senior marketing professional to strategically lead marketing operations. Job Title: Head of Marketing Location: Flexible Hybrid working available – based from our Bristol City Centre HQ Best.Energy are a leading cleantech company in the energy efficiency space – providing energy monitoring, management and smart building services to clients across the world. We have a distributed work force, primarily based in the UK – but with satellite offices in Malaysia, Kenya and the United States. We’re looking for a talented senior marketing professional to join the team here in the UK and drive further growth at a critical time for the business. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with exceptional written and verbal communication skills, experience managing marketing teams and a proven track-record in B2B marketing – ideally within the energy, technology or sustainability sectors. You will join a fast-paced marketing environment and hitting the ground running will be essential. Main Responsibilities Include: Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the company’s growth objectives. Brand Management: Build and enhance Best.Energy’s brand identity and ensure consistent messaging across all channels. Demand Generation: Design and execute multi-channel campaigns to drive lead generation, nurture prospects, and increase sales pipeline growth. Content Marketing: Oversee the creation of engaging content, including white papers, blogs, case studies, videos, and social media. Digital Marketing: Manage SEO, PPC, social media, and email marketing campaigns to optimize online visibility and engagement. Partnerships and Events: Coordinate industry partnerships, sponsorships, and participation in key events, trade shows, and webinars. Market Research: Analyse industry trends, competitors, and customer insights to identify opportunities and inform strategy. Team Leadership: Recruit, manage, and develop a high-performing marketing team. Budget Management: Plan and manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation and ROI. Performance Tracking: Establish KPIs, monitor performance, and produce regular reports to measure success and optimize strategies. Required Skills: Proven experience in a senior marketing role, preferably as Head of Marketing, Marketing Director, or equivalent. Strong expertise in B2B marketing, ideally within the energy, technology, or sustainability sectors. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful marketing strategies. Proficient in digital marketing tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms. HubSpot experience is valuable, but not essential. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities. Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred). Working Location Our UK office is in Bristol and the ideal candidate will be based within reach of this office. Candidates further away will be considered on a purely remote-working basis. In either case, a flexible portion of the working week will be based from home.
