The role of the Private Client Manager is to deliver exceptional service to our most loyal clients. As one of the key roles in our Private Shopping team, you are critical to achieving this ambition. Delivering world class service to Harrods’ most loyal clients and consistently exceeding their expectations is in our DNA. It goes without saying that our clients expect simplicity, ease, pace and most importantly personalised service, tailored to their needs when they visit us.
A key responsibility of the Private Client Manager is to deliver maximum client benefit which in turn results in the achievement of commercial business returns. Satisfying clients demands, whilst driving portfolio growth, using insights provided by the Client Development Managers to introduce products and brands that complement clients' lifestyles, is at the core of the role. The Private Client Manager role is a key focus within our Private Shopping team where no day is the same.
Below are some of the other responsibilities within this role:
- Building deep, meaningful client relationships with your portfolio of end-user clients in order to deliver an intuitive service which will maximise sales.
- Acting upon client insight and anticipating their wants and needs as well as growing the client relationship to drive it forward.
- Spotting opportunities to develop our service or offering and influencing internal stakeholders and brand partners accordingly.
- Preselect items for clients and present options to suit their taste.
- Consistently reviewing your client portfolio to prioritise actions and spot opportunities.

In addition to this we are looking for someone who has the following:
- Passionate about delivering the very best for our clients, and luxury service standards at all times, and has experience holding client appointments.
- Is able to show expertise across multiple categories, i.e RTW, Home, lifestyle, fine watches and jewellery.
- Proven experience in building authentic relationships built on trust, both with clients, as well as both internal and external stakeholders, resulting in an established client book.
- Have worked within a small team, delivering unparalleled service.
- The ability to hold engaging and meaningful conversations with clients as well as being culturally aware and having worldly knowledge.
- Is strategic in their approach to their client portfolio.
- Is a team player and a collaborative style of working.
