Cloud Architect – Openstack and Openshift (Dubai Office, United Arabic Emirates) Join to apply for the Cloud Architect – Openstack and Openshift (Dubai Office, United Arabic Emirates) role at Red Hat About The Job The Red Hat Consulting team is looking for a Cloud Architect to join us in our Dubai Office, UAE. In this role, you will work as a subject-matter expert in Red Hat’s infrastructure and cloud technology. You\’ll answer questions about best practices around automation, reliability, scalability, maintainability, high availability, and failover setups and lead the on-site delivery and implementation of Red Hat’s technology that delivers freedom, flexibility, and outstanding performance. You will gain an understanding of our customers\’ infrastructures and business issues and make recommendations appropriate to their environments. This is a great opportunity to build on your core knowledge and work in a fast-paced environment promoting Red Hat’s solutions. We are looking for candidates with hands-on experience in Openstack. Note: Due to customer requirements, only candidates holding passports from the UK, US, Australia, or EU countries will be considered. Red Hat will provide relocation support to the UAE for the selected candidate. What You Will Do Win the confidence of our customers through successful delivery of discovery, analysis, and design workshops that shape and influence architecture decisions to align with Red Hat solutions. Lead consulting teams through customer pilot and production deployments, workload onboarding, and ongoing lifecycle management. Collaborate with product units, engineering, support, and sales to ensure a high-quality customer experience with Red Hat’s products. Contribute to developing scalable methodologies and tools to enhance Red Hat’s service delivery and reduce risks. What You Will Bring Experience in consulting and architecture roles. Strong customer-facing skills and ability to lead interactions. Hands-on knowledge of infrastructure technologies and enterprise virtualization and container deployments. Knowledge of Red Hat infrastructure solutions like Red Hat OpenStack Platform, Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, and RHEL. Willingness to travel regionally. Experience onboarding applications onto cloud or container platforms, with DevOps, CI/CD, and lifecycle management. Excellent English communication skills. Red Hat Certifications are a plus.
