The Energy Training Centre is a globally recognised provider of high-impact, industry-specific training programmes. While we are well known for our expertise in the energy sector, our reach and impact extend far beyond—supporting organisations across diverse industries, including emergency response and firefighting, in building capacity, ensuring compliance, and driving professional excellence.

We are currently seeking Senior Health & Safety Consultants/Instructors with extensive experience in delivering internationally recognised certification programmes, including those specific to firefighting, fire safety, and emergency response, to join our global faculty of experts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver internationally accredited Health, Safety, and Firefighting training programmes, including but not limited to: NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, NFPA Standards (e.g., NFPA 1001, 1021, 1041), Behavior-Based Safety, Safety Culture, Risk Assessment, and related topics.
  • Fire Risk Assessment, Fire Investigation, Incident Command System (ICS), Live Fire Training, and Emergency Preparedness.
  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality course materials, manuals, and learner resources tailored to the fire safety and emergency response sectors.
  • Facilitate interactive, in-person training sessions tailored to a global audience, including fire brigades, industrial emergency response teams, and oil & gas site responders.
  • Ensure all content aligns with international standards (e.g., NFPA, ISO, OSHA) and is contextualised to meet regional firefighting regulations and emergency management protocols.
  • Collaborate with clients to customise training objectives and outcomes, especially in high-risk industrial environments and public safety organisations.
Candidate Profile:
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in Health, Safety, and Firefighting consulting and professional training delivery, including practical experience in fire service, industrial firefighting, or emergency response leadership.
  • Officially certified to deliver one or more of the following: NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, NFPA Instructor I/II or equivalent recognised firefighting training credentials.
  • Proven track record of developing and delivering custom, engaging, and compliant course content specific to fire safety, firefighting operations, and emergency management.
  • Exceptional presentation, communication, and facilitation skills across diverse cultural and industry contexts.
  • Willing and able to travel internationally for training engagements in remote, high-risk, or industrial environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with multinational corporations, fire departments, civil defense authorities, and large-scale industrial clients (e.g., oil & gas, petrochemical, aviation, marine).
  • Familiarity with adult learning principles, live fire training methodologies, and global instructional design best practices for high-risk occupations.
