Job Description:
Job Title: Network Engineer(Azure/Palo Alto)
Location: Birmingham, UK(2 days/week, onsite)
Job Type: Permanent
Essential Skills & Experience(Technical):
- In depth knowledge and extensive experience in the design, management, and support networks in customer Data Centres or Cloud environments
- Extensive experience and knowledge of network security devices and configuration (Cisco ASA, CheckPoint, Palo Alto, Fortinet or similar)
- In-depth knowledge of VPN technologies (Cisco, CheckPoint, Palo Alto)
- Extensive knowledge of network switches (Meraki, Cisco, Aruba)
- Core network skills to include, routing (OSPF, BGP, MPLS, etc), switching (VLANS, STP, Stacking, etc)
- Strong understanding of corporate LAN and WAN data networks
- Knowledge of WAF (Cloudflare, Azure)
