About The Role: The Area Sales Manager will oversee sales operations across the North East of England, focusing on revenue growth and increasing EBIT for the Immingham depot and supporting locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building strong relationships with existing customers
- Prospecting for new customers and opportunities
- Collaborating with depot network and Service Centre colleagues
- Continuously developing product and application knowledge
- Using CRM and other data systems effectively
- Managing commercials for profitability
- Increasing regional awareness of SLD Pumps & Power
- Reporting on customer enquiries, hires, and sales
- Assisting in collection of payments
Qualifications for Success:
- Experience in outside sales within the construction industry
- Knowledge of electrical power supply equipment (generators, solar, batteries) or plant rental beneficial
- UK driving license
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Customer-focused and results-driven attitude
