As an experienced Waste Management Consultant, with a scientific background and experience of working within the nuclear sector, you will lead and execute research projects for a variety of clients within the UK nuclear sector, focused on improving the efficiency and safety of nuclear processes, especially those relating to nuclear waste and nuclear materials.
This role requires a strong understanding of nuclear processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work closely with engineering and client teams.
The successful candidate will be joining a team who drive innovation, solve complex challenges with advanced technology and focus on sustainability and safety. - A degree in a related field such as Nuclear Engineering, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, with extensive commercial experience of nuclear processes and related chemistry
- Practical experience of working directly with, and providing consultancy to, companies within the nuclear sector
- Experience of leading and executing research projects, especially those related to nuclear waste and materials, with experience including waste sentencing and waste acceptance, BAT studies, etc.
