Do you have a dedication to excellence and want to be part of a friendly and positive environment? Take a look at this opportunity to join our amazing team as a Workplace Assessor in St Albans. As a Dental Workplace Assessor, you will:
- Book and carry out workplace assessments of Diploma in Dental Nursing learners within the required time period.
- Communicate effectively with practice managers and learners.
- Ensure the correct completion and submission of all assessment paperwork.
- Provide constructive feedback to the learner and practice manager in a sensitive manner.
- Prepare and support a small caseload of learners for EPA.
- Conduct health & safety and equal opportunities vetting and monitoring of practice and provide guidance where necessary.
- Plan and prepare for each workplace assessment.
- Remain current in your skills and knowledge of the dental sector and legislative requirements, and maintain your GDC registration.
What we need from you:
- Level 3 Training or Assessing Qualification - or willingness to acquire.
- Qualified Dental Nurse with a minimum of 2 years experience.
- DBS Check.
- Ability to travel to St Albans to conduct workplace assessments.
- Ability to plan work effectively and meet deadlines.
- IT literate - with effective use of MS Office.
- Experience of assessing the Dental Diploma/Advance Apprenticeship (desirable).
- Experience of working within work-based learning programmes (desirable).
