What the role will involve:
- Work alongside specialist developers taking low TRL, EW and Cyber research concepts right through to production
- Use your mathematical expertise to solve complex signal processing, data analysis and algorithm development problems
- Engage with real-world applications in radar, jamming, secure communications and cyber defence
- Tackle advanced challenges in cryptography, electromagnetic theory and RF (Radio Frequency) Engineering
What you’ll bring:
- Degree qualified in Mathematics, Physics or a related discipline
- An interest and willingness to learn about applying mathematics to signal processing problems
- An interest in putting theory into practice by developing hands-on engineering skills
- Competency with MATLAB and Python
- An enthusiasm for working with new and evolving technologies, sometimes outside of your immediate skill set, to solve a wide range of challenges using creative and innovative solutions
