Who we are… Agratas is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons. We design, develop and manufacture high-quality, high-performance, sustainable batteries for the mobility and energy sectors. We are a scale-up business with a start-up mentality and the backing of a well-established parent company. The UK business headquarters is in the Midlands and we are currently building a battery manufacturing facility in Somerset and looking to complement, scale and grow our R&D facilities in Abingdon and Coventry with the brightest minds from within the battery and EV sector. Our battery technology roadmap is based on a foundation of world-class solutions for multiple applications. Collaborating with our technical partners, we are industrialising best-in-class high energy density and long-lasting battery cells. We are also committed to developing the next generation of battery technologies.
Your responsibilities include:
- Supporting the successful delivery of our engineering project portfolio to ensure achievement of core company and functional objectives.
- Support business development requests for the contribution of Pack Team to customer enquiries.
- Lead projects within your portfolio from end to end (KO to Post series introduction) to ensure these are executed on time, to quality, performance and cost objectives.
- Lead, maintain and manage project delivery progress across all stakeholder groups.
- Lead, manage, control and maintain the project scope, using escalation appropriately.
- Deliver programmes within the Agratas NPI, Gateway and PM framework, applying systems engineering (ISO15288) approach and adherence to the delivery standards as applied across the organisation, to meet ISO9001, ITAF16949.
- Accountable for ensuring adherence to APQP, Functional Safety (ISO26262), Cyber Security (ISO21434), ASPICE s/w development.
- Ensure effective communication and reporting of projects status across all stakeholder groups.
- Lead continuous improvement throughout the projects.
- Lead and contribute to the development of the PM team capability including the development of people, processes, and tools.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in either a science or engineering discipline, experience in delivering in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment (HV Electrical and Software delivery experience desirable).
- A professional project management certification is desirable.
- Project management experience in an automotive electrical engineering/control or new product development environment.
- Demonstrable leadership in a complex cross-functional programme in a fast moving and dynamic environment.
- Experience of working with cross-functional teams ideally spread geographically across the globe.
- Experience in conflict management and resolution.
- Experience delivering projects to time, quality, performance and cost objectives while engaging a broader stakeholder group.
- Experience of delivering projects within NPI frameworks to a gateway methodology using Systems Engineering approach (ISO15288).
- Experience of application and adherence to the delivery standards as applied across the organisation, typically, ISO9001, and ITAF16949.
- Experience in product development processes including APQP, Functional Safety (ISO26262), Cyber Security (ISO21434), ASPICE s/w developments.
- Prior experience leading, coaching, guiding and developing team members towards high performance.
- A Project Management practitioner with experience applied throughout the project lifecycle and with experience of application of both linear-sequential, iterative-incremental and hybrid methods.
- Ability to work within a “start-up” culture where resilience and creativity are necessary in equal measure.
