We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Service & PDI Technician to join our existing team at the Esher branch in Surrey.

Role Purpose:

  • Reporting directly to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for repairing, assembling, and maintaining all equipment related to Horticultural machinery sold by the company. This role is solely workshop-based.
  • Repair, assemble, and maintain equipment for customers associated with Horticultural machinery.
  • Diagnose faults and perform repairs and servicing effectively.
  • Possess good knowledge of Utility, Garden, and small Agricultural machinery.
  • Knowledge of Domestic or Professional Grass Machinery and its operation is advantageous.
  • Ability to diagnose hydraulic and electrical faults using the latest software.
  • Work independently using your initiative and collaboratively within a team.
  • Handle heavy lifting safely, applying common sense, and seek assistance when needed.
  • Be competent in the use of computers.
  • Provide excellent customer service face-to-face and over the phone.
  • Be self-motivated and proactive.

Additional Information:

  • Start Date: Immediate, subject to notice period of successful candidates.
  • Hours: 42.5 hours per week – 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday (1-hour unpaid lunch).
  • Overtime paid at time and a half.
