Due to continued success and business growth, we are looking to expand our team in Perth with a Trainee Insurance Account Handler. This is a truly unique opportunity to begin a career in such a fantastic industry. You will have full support and training from a very experienced team and have the opportunity to advance your career. We are looking for people who are in the very early stages of their career who have some form of Customer Service Experience and Administration Skills. We are looking for enthusiasm and professionalism and the willingness to learn above all else.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, learning to help them understand their insurance requirements and supporting with the provision of professional guidance.
- Policy Administration: Handle the end-to-end administration of personal insurance policies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry regulations.
- Renewals and Upselling: Proactively manage policy renewals, identify upselling opportunities, and contribute to the growth of the client portfolio.
- Market Knowledge: Stay informed about industry trends, changes in regulations, and emerging products to provide informed advice to clients.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including underwriters and claims specialists, to deliver comprehensive and effective insurance solutions.
- Qualifications and Experience:
- Customer Service experience, both telephone and written
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
