A new and ambitious international oil & gas company β€” currently in its early formation stage β€” is seeking a Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO) to lead strategic business development and global growth initiatives. Our company is positioned to operate at the intersection of international trade, complex geo-strategic transactions, and high-level partnerships with governments and major industry players. This is a rare opportunity to join the founding team of a global venture that aims to play a significant role in the evolving global energy landscape.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experienced & Capable: 10+ years in senior business development, strategic partnerships, or executive roles in international corporations β€” preferably in energy, oil & gas, commodities, or infrastructure. Demonstrated success in initiating and closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals β€” particularly across borders, governments, and major industry stakeholders. Background in working with or within governments, sovereign institutions, or multinational corporations. Strong commercial acumen, excellent negotiation skills, and a high level of geopolitical and market insight. Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
  • Visionary & Entrepreneurial: Highly creative, strategic thinker with a strong entrepreneurial mindset. Able to identify emerging opportunities in shifting global markets and act on them swiftly and decisively. Comfortable operating in early-stage, fast-moving, and high-ambiguity environments. Strong communicator with the ability to build trust and mobilize support from key internal and external stakeholders.

Important Note: This is a founding role in a company that is still in the formation phase. As such, the position is currently unpaid until the company initiates formal commercial operations. This role is ideal for someone motivated by the long-term vision and high-impact potential of helping build a global energy venture from the ground up.
