About the Role:
- You will play a key role in delivering and developing an integrated, patient-focused stroke service, providing care across:
- Hyperacute, acute, and stroke rehabilitation pathways
- Rapid assessment, thrombolysis and thrombectomy decision-making
- Stroke clinics and ongoing outpatient care
- Clinical leadership and multidisciplinary collaboration
- Service innovation and pathway development
- Governance and audit programmes
- Training and supervision of junior doctors and AHPs
- Research and quality improvement initiatives
What We're Looking For:
- GMC Registration with entry on the Specialist Register (or within 6 months of CCT)
- CCT in Stroke Medicine, Geriatric Medicine or Neurology (or equivalent overseas qualifications)
- Proven experience in hyperacute stroke care and familiarity with thrombolysis and thrombectomy protocols
- A collaborative, innovative and patient-centred mindset
