Salary: Up to £100,000 + Package

We’re partnering with a thriving services business employing 1,000+ colleagues across the UK — most of whom are field-based, delivering essential services to customers every day.

Following a period of rapid growth, we’re now looking for a Head of HR to work closely with the senior leadership team to realign the people strategy with operational delivery and help set the business up for continued success.

The Immediate Focus:

  • This is a roll-your-sleeves-up role. You’ll bring clarity and consistency to the core HR activities:
  • Strengthening attraction, recruitment and onboarding processes
  • Driving pragmatic employee relations
  • Embedding HR support that meets the realities of a field-based workforce

By stabilising the day-to-day, you’ll unlock capacity to focus on strategic transformation.

The Bigger Picture:

  • Partner with senior stakeholders to reshape the HR plan in line with business needs
  • Support and prepare the business for continued growth through acquisition and integration
  • Lead a small HR team, developing capability and instilling confidence across the function
  • Build a scalable, fit-for-purpose HR foundation that allows the business to grow without friction

  • A commercially astute HR leader who thrives in operational blue collar environments
  • Experience of delivering effective HR to field-based and dispersed teams
  • Proven ability to lead through ambiguity, reset expectations, and deliver results
  • A practical, people-first approach with the credibility to influence at senior level
