A friendly and professional asbestos consultancy, with offices across the UK, is currently recruiting for experienced asbestos site staff to join their South East team. The company has positions available for both surveyors, analysts, as well as dual qualified consultants and are happy to receive applications from those that hold a combination of the P402, P403, P404 qualifications. In return, the client can offer a competitive basic salary and opportunities to gain further P certs and industry qualifications.
Successful candidates will be traveling across London and southern counties, including (but not limited to); Dartford, Bromley, Erith, Bexleyheath, Swanley, Orpington, Sidcup, Rochester, Sevenoaks, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Croydon, Rainham, Dagenham, Grays, Tilbury, Barking, Hornchurch, Romford, London.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Will hold a minimum of the P402 and/or P403, P404 (or equivalent RSPH qualification).
- Working knowledge of HSG:264 and/or HSG:248.
- Experience working within a UKAS accredited consultancy.
- Practical experience carrying out asbestos surveying and/or air monitoring tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out the full range of asbestos surveying and inspection tasks, including management, refurbishment & demolition surveys.
- Bulk sampling in accordance with HSG264.
- Air Monitoring and airborne fibre counting.
- Undertaking Visual inspections of asbestos enclosures.
- Conducting 4-stage clearances.
- Using handheld tablets and TEAMS / TRACKER to accurately record site data and produce site-specific reports.
- Maintaining strong working relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Representing the business in a professional manner at all times.
