We are seeking to recruit a Customer Services Technician to join our Customer Services team based in the North East region. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving license, be a time-served tradesperson, and demonstrate that they are a team player. They will possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, a desire and drive to succeed, and empathy and sympathy when dealing with our customers. The candidate should be smart, punctual, honest, and reliable.
The main responsibilities of this role include:
- Carrying out defect repairs in occupied properties
- Liaising with nominated contractors and suppliers for the coordination of remedial works in occupied homes
- Collaborating with your Line Manager to promote effective solutions to complex remedial activities
- Creating positive working relationships with colleagues, especially site teams
- Coordinating with the Customer Service Hub regarding remedial activities
- Completing all assigned tasks effectively and within charter timescales
- Maintaining professionalism, courtesy, dignity, and control when interacting with customers, colleagues, and subcontractors to uphold the company's core values
You should also have a sound understanding of NHBC Technical Standards & Guidelines, a good decision-making process, and the ability to use your initiative to solve problems.
