The Opportunity
The bank now has an opportunity for a UK qualified Lawyer to join the business. In this position, you will play a key role in drafting and managing Retail & Private banking documents for the business, primarily related to multiple aspects of lending. As part of a small legal team, you will work closely with senior management; you will also work closely with the wider business and advise on a range of day to day matters common in the running of a UK bank.
About You
A lending (Retail, Private Banking and/or Real Estate) background is key, with knowledge of banking consumer products and the regulatory framework around these being helpful, or any real estate investment experience. A broad finance skill-set of any sectors will be considered; key will be a commercial approach and the ability and an interest in a varied role. A positive, can-do attitude and enthusiasm for working with people and building relationships is also key.
The role requires a commercially minded financial services lawyer ideally with some lending experience who would like to step into a varied role, working closely with the business.
