Are you an experienced HR professional looking to move away from high volume employee relations into a more strategic / project related role?

We have a fantastic new opportunity for a HR Advisor to join an established professional services organisation in Leicester with huge growth plans in 2025. Duties to include:

  • Using HRIS (Workday) to collate, extract and present HR data to wider People Team and stakeholders to help shape and execute the People Strategy
  • Delivering training across the business in all HR matters and helping to coach managers and people leaders to handle HR queries
  • Regular updates to policies and procedures relating to legislative changes
  • Working closely with business partnering team on any project work relating to employee engagement, wellbeing, recruitment
  • Assisting with acquisitions, TUPE’s and any other organisational change
  • Employee relations case management

This is a full time permanent position working 37.5 hours Monday to Friday with flexibility on start & finish times and hybrid working (2 days in the office).

For this role we need experienced HR Advisors who are analytically minded have a real skill and passion of working with HRIS and HR data, ideally with prior experience with Workday, and have the ability and confidence to report findings to senior stakeholders across the business. You will also be experienced in delivering HR training both 1:1 coaching and development as managers as well as training larger groups during inductions and on-boarding on matters across the employee lifecycle.

You will have an excellent understanding of UK employment law and be adept at keeping policies up to date relating to legislative changes and be able to handle ER case work independently.

Prior experience supporting with HR project work relating to engagement, wellbeing, recruitment & retention and knowledge of acquisitions and/or organisational change is also needed.

This role offers fantastic opportunities to be involved in HR strategy projects working closely with skilled and experienced HR Business Partners and real progression opportunities to move from Advisor to Business Partner for the right ambitious and dedicated professional.
