CT Technologists are responsible for:
- Explaining radiographic procedures to patients and collecting accurate patient histories.
- Performing clinical diagnostic examinations, including necessary room preparation.
- Entering patient and exam data accurately into the Radiology Information System.
- Under the direction of the Radiologist, the CT Technologist operates CT equipment to produce diagnostic and interventional images of the body.
Qualifications for this position include:
- 1-3 months of experience and/or training required.
- Satisfactory formal training in an approved program.
- ARRT certification required.
