The division is responsible for the engineering, sales, and manufacturing of industrial engines up to 7 litres for a wide variety of applications. We don’t just talk about progress — we build it. We have an exciting opportunity to lead the design and development of air and fuel system components across both new and current engine platforms. You’ll work as part of a small, friendly team, in close collaboration with global engineers, suppliers, and production facilities — delivering robust, high-quality solutions from concept through to production.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver air/fuel system/component development projects to time, cost, and quality goals
- Lead design reviews and support cross-functional business cases
- Drive supplier collaboration through specification development and APQP
- Use FMEA to assess risk; define validation through DVP&R
- Investigate and resolve technical issues using 8D methodology
- Interpret customer needs with Product Management and translate into robust designs
- Collaborate globally to implement engineering solutions at worldwide sites
- Reflect on lessons learned to drive continuous improvement using Lean tools
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (or equivalent experience)
- 6–8 years of experience in component design, validation, and testing
- Strong understanding of combustion engine fundamentals, performance, and emissions systems
- Expertise in: Fuel systems, air systems, EGR, turbochargers, and engine performance
- 3D CAD design using PTC Creo
- PLM tools like Siemens Teamcenter
- Data analysis tools: Diadems, vCDM, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Solid knowledge of manufacturing principles and mechanical engineering fundamentals
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects
- Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to drive innovation
