About the Role

In this hands-on role, you will help plan and deliver a wide variety of activities and events—from group learning sessions and community dining to outings and special celebrations. You will work closely with clients to promote social connection, independence, and wellbeing, all while being part of a friendly and supportive team. This is a Permanent Part-time role, 21 hours per week.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Deliver engaging programs that foster creativity, connection, and a sense of purpose.
  • Research and present meaningful topics that spark conversation, curiosity, and learning.
  • Create a warm, welcoming environment by greeting clients and visitors, building relationships, and making sure everyone feels included.
  • Support client transport to and from the Community Centre and on outings across greater Melbourne, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience.
  • Collaborate with a passionate team to develop and enhance programs based on client interests, feedback, and ideas.

About You

You are compassionate, enthusiastic, and enjoy working with people from all walks of life. You have strong communication and presentation skills. You are comfortable driving a 12-seat minibus and assisting clients with mobility needs. You are proactive, organised, and enjoy working both independently and as part of a team.

  • A current driver’s licence and willingness to drive a 12-seat minibus.
  • Confidence using a computer, phone, and GPS navigation tools.
  • Current First Aid certificate and Police Check.

Highly Desirable

  • Experience in aged care, disability, or community services.
  • Certificate III in Aged Care or Certificate IV in Leisure and Health (or similar).
