Interim Finance Director required for a PE backed manufacturing business undergoing a period of change. As Interim Finance Director, your remit will be to oversee financial reporting, forecasting, and provide overall financial support during this transition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the financial reporting and forecasting efforts, with a strong focus on managing tight cash flow.
- Oversee and improve financial systems, processes, and internal controls.
- Support forecasting and financial analysis.
- Prepare and present clear, actionable financial information to support decision-making during the sale process.
- Provide support to the finance team of 6 and contribute to change management efforts, improving clarity and simplifying processes where possible.
- Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting and transparency, including M&A-related activities.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Proven track record as an Interim Finance Director ideally with experience in standalone businesses with Β£30m+ turnover.
- Strong background in change management, financial reporting, and cash forecasting in a manufacturing, engineering, or construction setting.
