We are recruiting for a leading main contractor delivering large-scale industrial projects, including warehouses, distribution centres, and cold storage facilities. They are seeking a Site Engineer or Senior Engineer with a background in commercial groundworks or earthworks to play a key role in the successful delivery of their projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting out and surveying for large-scale industrial projects.
- Overseeing groundworks and earthworks, ensuring compliance with design and quality standards.
- Collaborating with site teams, subcontractors, and project managers to maintain programme and cost efficiency.
- Ensuring health & safety protocols are adhered to across all engineering aspects.
- Providing technical support and problem-solving on-site.
Requirements:
- Experience in commercial groundworks or earthworks within an engineering role.
- Strong setting-out skills using GPS, Total Stations, and AutoCAD.
- Experience working with a main contractor or specialist subcontractor.
