Be Informed Developer

As a Be Informed Developer, you will be working together with your colleagues and our partners to design and develop intelligent automation solutions for our customers. For creating the solutions, you will use the Be Informed platform. Our platform uses declarative models and advanced goal-oriented, backward chaining inferences to automate decision, support decision makers and generate contextual processes according to the rules specific to the situation. Our platform is a direct model-driven platform, which is instantly operable, without additional programming or code. For describing and modeling the products, services, processes and policies, the client’s existing business language is used.

What will be your responsibilities as a Be Informed Developer:

• Gathering the customer’s needs and wishes (requirements);
• Model, configure and test the more complex detail specifications, definitions, and requirements;
• Supporting, coaching and training colleagues, partners, and customers to enable them to apply the Be Informed Platform sufficiently;
• Proposing product improvements;
• Designing, developing and documenting re-usable patterns and add-on components.

As a Be Informed Developer you will be:

• Gathering the customer’s needs and wishes (requirements);
• Designing solutions;
• Identifying new opportunities at existing customer accounts to expand our footprint;
• Creating prototype applications in a short period of time;
• Organizing presentations and demos;
• Responding to requests for information/writing a proposal;
• Supporting and training partners’ and customers’ architects to enable them to apply the Be Informed Platform sufficiently;
• Designing patterns and add-on components.

Whom we're looking for:

We are looking for someone who is result driven, takes the initiative and has a good business sense. Furthermore, you have a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics, at least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience with Be Informed, and 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in software development. Next to that, we would like you to have:

Knowledge about/experienced with:

• Architecture and frameworks (e.g. Archimate, TOGAF, SOA);
• Business rule management;
• Dynamic / adaptive case management;
• Testing;
• Application servers, databases, CMS/DMS, CI/CD, and integration platforms.

Skills:

• Ability to translate business requirements into efficient concepts/structures, and re-usable implementation patterns;
• Highly analytical and creative;
• Focus on preciseness and detail, reusability, flexibility and maintainability;
• Coaching, didactic;
• Communication skills to: Help junior consultants with Be Informed related questions; Act as counterpart for architects, business analysts, and IT specialists; Explain deliverables and provide demonstrations to a business and/or IT audience.

Fluent in speaking, reading and writing English (at least C1 – CEFR); Fluent in speaking, reading and writing Dutch and also located in the Netherlands.
