Wise May are recruiting for an Insurance Sales Consultant to join a customer centric Insurance Specialist based in Beckenham to support the companies exciting plans for growth and expansion by generating new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engaging with clients to initiate new business opportunities through direct enquiries, leads, referrals, prospecting, cross-selling and networking.
- Assessing clients’ insurance needs by identifying their risks and insurance coverage requirements and advising on suitable insurance products.
- Collaborating with insurance carriers and underwriters to negotiate coverage and pricing on behalf of clients.
- Maintaining professional relationships with our existing network of Brokers for all our products.
- Managing and sharing internal referrals with the Underwriting Technician.
- Distributing quotations to the sales team.
- Reviewing, maintaining and updating client records including policy renewals and adjustments.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships through regular communication.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to ensure they are satisfied with their insurance policies and service.
- Achieving sales targets through proactive and professional client engagement.
- Staying up-to-date with changes in insurance policies, laws, regulations and best practices.
Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrable experience working in an insurance sales role, with personal and commercial lines product knowledge.
- A customer-focused mindset, with the ability to build rapport and trust with your clients.
