We are currently looking for a Senior Maintenance Electrician to join our Infrastructure & Laboratory Services function within the Corporate group. The post is responsible for carrying out electrical work to support the specialist areas of the South Mimms site and coordinating and completing the planned preventative maintenance programme for the specialist plant and equipment. The postholder will investigate and respond to faults, and unscheduled tasks as they occur, on a priority basis and resolve or propose solutions as to how the fault can be rectified so that the site continues to function safely.
The successful candidate will have:
- Minimum NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Electrical installation or maintenance
- Demonstrated competence in Inspection and Testing
- Qualification in the Certification of Electrical Installations (2391) or periodic inspections (2394/5)
- A BS7671 qualification to the 18th Edition
- Significant experience in a Maintenance or Building Services environment within a hospital or research environment or production facility
